Epson L805 flashing alternating red LEDs (Service Required: Waste Ink Pad Counter Full)

Our main photo-printing Epson L805 suddenly stopped mid-job today with power and ink lights flashing alternately.

Status monitor displays: 'Service Required - A printer's ink pad is at the end of its service life.' We tried turning it off and on but the error persists. Does anyone have the verified working Adjprog reset procedure for Windows 11?

Step-by-step reset instructions for Epson L800/L805/L850 on Windows 10/11:

1. Temporarily pause Windows Defender real-time protection.
2. Connect printer via **USB Cable** (DO NOT reset over WiFi or Network Sharing).
3. Launch `Adjprog.exe` > Click **Select** > Choose **L805** and select the active USB virtual port.
4. Click **Particular Adjustment Mode** > Select **Waste Ink Pad Counter** > Click OK.
5. Check both **Main Pad Counter** and **Platen Pad Counter**.
6. Click **Check** to verify reading (usually reads 100%), then click **Initialize**.
7. When prompted, switch off printer power button, wait 5 seconds, and turn back on. Alternating red LEDs will clear completely!

Also remember to reroute the physical waste ink tube into a small external bottle at the back so the internal sponges don't overflow inside the motherboard tray!
